Saturday Live is a scratch night- come- theatre party. Expect live art, immersive theatre, digital work, music and new writing scattered throughout the building, so that you can explore to your tastes and wander freely!

This Saturday Live features 8 different performances from Sheffield, Leeds, Wakefield and York. A truly northern line up!

This round we have 8 selected acts:

Ben Carlin - Memories of Now: A one to one virtual reality performance piece showing post-war stories of Sheffield; combining social history, 360° video and Oculus Rift virtual reality technology.

Dawn Robinson - When I see you I think of...Dentist: An interactive theatre piece exploring becoming British.

Immie Davis - Little thing: An exploration of family ties and what it means to leave home.

Lydia Cottrell - Atlantis: A dance piece that will take the audience on a journey from ancient atlantis to modern day consumer society in an orange NASA suit.

Honor Gavin - Never Was: Spoken word/performance piece of lip-synching glittery prose over a slashed soundtrack of lost boyband classics

Nathan Birkinshaw and Rachel Watson - Margaret: A piece exploring dementia, performed on a runway of biscuits

Malaika Cunningham and Sarah Sharp - Conversations in Fruit: Flying fruit performance art with hidden depths

Elinor Rowlands - Second Skin: A rehearsed reading about a girl who craves to live in a world underwater because she finds the noise in this world too overwhelming.

Tickets are half price if booked in advance via ticket link or £5 on the door.
